We’re looking for talented Motion Designers who will create eye-catching animations, interactive transitions, and visual effects that elevate our mobile gaming experience. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling through motion, a strong understanding of user experience, and a knack for delivering visually compelling and responsive designs that enhance gameplay.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the creative and development teams to conceptualize and design animations, transitions, and effects that align with the game’s art style and narrative.
• Bring the game’s interface to life by animating buttons, icons, notifications, and other UI components, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all screens.
• Partner with developers to ensure animations and motion graphics integrate smoothly into the game and are optimized for mobile performance.
• Design special effects and in-game animations that enhance gameplay, including particle effects, character animations, and environmental effects.
• Ensure that all animations and visual effects are consistent with the game’s visual style, brand, and tone.
• Experiment with new motion techniques, prototype animations, and explore innovative ways to enhance user interaction and player engagement.
• Balance quality and performance by optimizing animations for mobile devices, keeping gameplay smooth and responsive.
Key Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in motion design, preferably in gaming or mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Spine, Unity, or similar tools. Experience with 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of motion design, particularly for mobile or gaming applications.
• Knowledge of how animation can improve user experience and understanding of mobile
game UI.
• Strong eye for color, composition, and timing, ensuring animations are both visually appealing and functional.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working with crossfunctional teams including developers, designers, and product managers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity) and understanding of mobile gaming design constraints.
• Ability to create original artwork, characters, or assets that can be animated.
• Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Principle to create interactive prototypes.
